About Palmer Flowers

Known for its Innovation and Diversity, Palmer Flowers sets the trends for the Floral Industry in Northern Colorado. By continually attending design shows and seminars around the country, and growers shows in California and Florida, the latest trends and newest varieties are always available. Some of these business relationships with growers go back over twenty years. The ability to buy Fresh Flowers, Tropical Plants, Blooming Plants, directly from growers around the country and around the world, ensures the extensive selection, variety and freshness always available to customers on a daily basis. Buyers are always on the lookout for the unique and exotic varieties not found anywhere else.

Palmer Flowers and Spiro Palmer come from very humble beginnings. Trained in the Floral industry by his Uncle and Brothers, Greek Immigrants, Spiro and his wife Angela, started selling Green plants in the Denver Dry Goods store in 1976. Finding a new location in downtown Fort Collins, they opened the original shop, Palmer House Florist at the corner of College & Olive. With a strong commitment to hard work and long hours, and a belief in the opportunities afforded them in their new country, it wasn’t long before the little shop began to grow. By focusing on Customer Service, Value, Selection and Variety, and by always willing to go the extra mile, the little shop flourished.

In February 1983, Spiro built Palmer House Florist and Greenhouse at its current location at 3700 South College Ave. At 17,000 square feet, and at a location that was in the middle of nowhere at the time, the state of the art facility was ahead of its time. However, the vision and foresight reaped its rewards, and the sales doubled in the first year alone. In the years since, the facility has undergone several expansions and a major remodel in 1995, along with a name change to Palmer Flowers.

From humble beginnings, to the finest Design Center in Northern Colorado, Spiro Palmer is the realization of the truth of the American Dream. With hard work and perseverance, Dreams can become Reality. Mary Spinelli and Susan Stockwell became partners as of January 1, 2000.

Our shop serves the following areas: Loveland, Windsor, Timnath and Wellington.

Our shop is open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.

To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 2 days prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

Our shop will always be closed on the following holidays:

A local delivery fee of $8.95 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)

U.S. orders must be received before 12:00 noon, in the recipient's time zone to help assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.

We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at a specific time of day, but we cannot guarantee it.

Deliveries of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed. We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the internet.
